CM-TMC7-SA TMC Console-Insert Swing-Arm Assembly (9" Reach)

There are two console-insert mount models to choose from - standard (CM-TMC7) and low-profile (CM-TMC7-LP).

In both designs, a swing arm is designed to rotate 180 degrees and lock positive every 30 degrees. A tilt and swivel laptop tray is mounted to the arm to complete the assembly.

This mount is designed to fit into the 7" sloped area of any of our TMC console models. To retrofit this mount into a TMC console you already own, you must remove the face plate rails and drill out the four (4) rail mount holes to .281 (9/32").

When you order the console and TMC computer mount at the same time, TROY will ship the parts ready to assemble without you having to drill any holes.

This model has a flat mounting surface with a swing arm and tilt & swivel base for a laptop. You can use either the swing-arm or sliding swing-arm with this mount.

The clearance between the mount and face plate mounting area of the console is 2.63".



CM-TMC7L-SA TMC Low-Profile Swing-Arm Assembly (9" Reach Only)

Use our low-profile TMC console-insert model only when overall height is a critical issue. The low-profile model is 1.23" shorter in height than the standard one. however, due to a specific design feature, you can use only the swing-arm design with this low-profile mount. The maximum reach is 9". if additional reach is more important than overall height, we recommend you use the standard model.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The vertical clearance surface between the low-profile console-insert mount and the face plate mounting area is 1.4". Keep this in mind when you consider the components that will be installed in the console. Once fitted to a face plate, if any control head (including knobs) protrudes beyond the face plate by 1.4" or more, it will be in the pathway of the swing arm. If this is the case, it's possible you can re-locate the control head farther down the face plate if the tabs are long enough. If not, use the standard CM-TMC7 model.
