POLICIES & FAQ
Lone Star Products and Equipment uses UPS and Fedex for small items. For larger items/orders we use Interstate LTL Freight Carriers who specialize in transporting large items. Once the item arrives at the nearest carrier terminal they will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.
Other Shipping methods are available, at the buyer expense, upon request.
When will my item ship?
Items typically leave our warehouse within 1-5 business days. Transit time to your home or business is typically 1-5 business days after they leave our warehouse.
UPS and Fedex tracking numbers are provided upon shipment and updated on the order status every evening.
LTL Motor Freight shipments can be tracked using the following method - on the order status page we enter DHL as the carrier. We then place the carrier's name and Bill of Lading Number in the tracking number field.
Important Notice Concerning LTL Shipments: It can take anywhere from 24-72 hours after an item has shipped to receive a pro number back from the carrier.
For freight shipments:
Visually inspect the item while the driver is there [This will require you to open the carton]. Do not sign for the product until you have inspected it. If it has been damaged, simply refuse the item and note the damage on the bill of lading. If the damage is not noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery the damage claim will have to be filed with the Carrier, by the recipient, prior to any further action. If damage is noted on the bill of lading and the item has been refused we will send you another item free of charge! If you decide to keep a damaged item, or do not inspect it, you release Lone Star Products and Equipment and the Carrier for any and all liability arising from damage.
For UPS shipments:
Contact Lone Star Products and Equipment within 48 hours. Do not refuse the item. We will file the damage claim, arrange for the damaged item to be picked up, and ship a replacement free of charge. If a UPS item is refused Lone Star Products and Equipment will not ship a replacement until the refused item is received back at our warehouse.
Your satisfaction is our top priority. We are an authorized dealer for all the products we sell; therefore all products are covered by the full manufactures warranty. We will exchange any defective product that has not been misused or improperly installed, free of charge. Warranty exchanges must still be under factory warranty.
All product warranties are held by the manufacture, not Lone Star Products and Equipment.
Canceling an Order
Any order may be canceled prior to shipment. If an order has already shipped a 20% restocking fee will be assessed in addition to any shipping charges.
You can return any item within the first 15 days from the day you have received delivery. Returns will not be accepted after 30 days. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Return shipping charges will be your responsibility. Original shipping charges are not refundable. Returns must be shipped to us using the same transportation method as the item was shiped to you. You must obtain a return authorization [RMA] prior to returning any product so we can promptly process your return. Products must be returned in their NEW, original condition, as shipped from us. Boxes, packing materials, wrappers, cartons, instruction manuals, warranty cards, and products must be in their original condition without markings, tape, folds, or defacing. Products returned in other than new condition or returned in damaged or used condition will be returned to the customer without exchange or credit. All unauthorized returns will be refused at the time of delivery and no credit will be issued.
