Federal Signal Impaxx Single Color LED Warning Lights - IPX600

This week Federal Signal announced a new version of the popular IMPAXX product line is now available to order. At this time we are taking pre-orders for delivery late September to early October.

New “IPX6” LED warning light models feature Federal Signal’s SOLARIS® LED reflector technology and our SPECTRALUX™ multi-color LED capability. These compact LED warning lights are ideal for use as grille lights or use in other auxiliary warning light applications. Pre-production orders can now be accepted with initial shipments expected in late September.

SpectraLux

IPX6 models are available in 6-LED, 12-LED, or 18-LED versions. Single-color models contain 6-LEDs. Two-color models contain 12-LEDs. And three-color models contain 18-LEDs.

Flash patterns and operation

IPX6 models contain a built-in flasher circuit with 23 flash patterns available. IPX6 lightheads can also be synchronized with other IPX6 lights or with Federal Signal’s IPX3, Viper EXT, or Viper S2 products.

Additional TakeDown capability

Two-color models or three-color models utilizing White LEDs can be wired to operate the White LEDs in “steady-on” mode in order to provide additional TakeDown capability. For example, a three-color Red/Blue/White model can be wired to alternately flash Red/Blue while the vehicle is responding, then the light can change to “steady-on” when TakeDown lighting is activated.

Mounts

Each IPX6 model includes a black polycarbonate mounting bezel, gasket, and mounting hardware. An optional chrome bezel (model# IPX6M-1) is also available to order separately.

Optical characteristics

IPX6 models utilize SOLARIS LED reflector technology to achieve superior off-axis warning. IPX6 models are available in a variety of combinations utilizing Amber, Blue, Green, Red, and White LEDs. The lightheads incorporate polycarbonate lenses that are available in “Clear” or “Color”. Models can be ordered with either horizontal or vertical lens prescriptions.
